This Project is a Progressive Build
This project is for those individuals that believe in the mission of the project and are willing to stick with the progressive build. If you are impatient, this project is likely not for you. The current R3 release is a milestone release geared around ease-of-use through its plug-and-play support. Future releases will focus on making the communications software easy to use through simple user interfaces.
Be Prepared to Wipe Your Computer
In order to keep the platform simple, there will be no provisions for direct upgrades from one version of EmComm Tools Community to the next. Getting future releases of EmComm Tools Community will require that you:
- Build a new ISO image
- Write the ISO to a thumb drive
- Erase your previous installation and re-install
Technical Effort Required
Due to legal reasons, you must build the EmComm Tools Community ISO image yourself. I cannot distribute an ISO image. The process for doing this is slightly technical, but should be doable for anyone willing to put in the time and effort to follow the steps on this site.
