There are a number of et-* commands available; however, only the following should be used by the average user.

et-user

et-radio

See Radio Selection.

et-mode

See Mode Switcher.

et-time

Displays the status of time set by a GPS receiver.

et-user-backup

et-user-restore

Bluetooth Commands

There are three radios (BTech UV Pro, VGC VR-N76, and Kenwood TH-D74) with Bluetooth TNCs that are supported by the platform. Each radio has its own command to pair, connect, and unpair.

The commands for each are as follows:

  • et-uv-pro
  • et-vr-n76
  • et-th-d74

All commands share the same arguments. As an example, the et-uv-pro is shown below.

Usage: et-uv-pro <command>
c, connect - Connect to radio via Bluetooth
  p, pair - Pair radio (one-time operation)
  u, unpair - Unpair radio

If the radio has never been paired, it must be paired with the pair command. This is generally a one time operation.

Note: The et-mode command is not supported or used by the Bluetooth TNC devices. The connect command must used to select the desired operating mode.

The modes are limited to the following 1200 baud AX.25 packet applications:

  • axcall (generic packet applications)
  • QtTermTCP (packet terminal client)
  • Winlink (email client)
  • YAAC (APRS client)

Simply follow the detailed instructions presented when paring, connecting, and unpairing.
